More than 500 global thought leaders and key decision-makers in the healthcare industry are convening at the World Health Care Congress in Abu Dhabi to share global best practices.

As part of GE healthymagination’s 2010 participation in key healthcare-related Thought Leadership programming, the company has sponsored the World Health Care Congress (WHCC) series of events. Earlier this year, GE sponsored the WHCC in Washington and in Brussels, and now in Abu Dhabi, taking place from 5-7 December. The Congress is another important step in the strategic commitment to excellence and innovation in health care in the Middle East and to help develop it as a global center for health care innovation and research.

The Congress will feature the top healthcare industry influencers, including health ministers, leading government officials, hospital directors, IT innovation leaders, pharmaceutical and medical device companies and health care industry suppliers.

Key speakers from GE are Michael J.Barber, Vice President, healthymagination; Jan De Witte, President and CEO, Global Performance Solutions; and Bernard Algayres, eHealth General Manager, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Above is a video message from Michael J.Barber at the WHCC on healthymagination and its impact on the healthcare industry. He also touches upon issues in the healthcare industry and GE’s commitment to sustainable health in the Middle East region.
