Nabil Habayeb Receives TAKREEM Award

On November 14th, Nabil Habayeb, President & CEO GE MENAT, has received the TAKREEM Award for Corporate Leadership at a ceremony at Zabeel Saray Music Hall in Dubai. Launched in 2010 with 10 categories, the prestigious awards honor people who have made extraordinary contributions to the Arab world, and “who have excelled in their field and inspired others in their quest for cultural, educational, scientific, environmental, humanitarian, social and economic excellence”, as they committee states on their website.
Nabil Habayeb was honored for his outstanding leadership in improving the lives of people in the region. The selection committee recognized that Nabil has aligned GE’s regional strategy to help solve the MENAT countries’ toughest challenges, working in close partnerships with customers, governments and communities.
Nabil commented: “Receiving the TAKREEM Award today is just an amazing honor. It recognizes all the efforts that our teams at GE have taken over the past couple of years. I believe that as a company like GE we have a responsibility to support our countries in building local capacity, driving local innovation, and establishing the right infrastructure to meet the needs of future generations.
