For Entrepreneurs Who Make: A New Online Home
Here in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), the Internet is bursting with advice and resources for entrepreneurs that are operating on areas like e-commerce and services. However, if you’re an entrepreneur that’s building or engineering things in the physical world, finding relevant resources is a lot more difficult.
That’s why GE has teamed up with Wamda, the MENA region’s leading platform to accelerate the entrepreneurship ecosystem, to create a microsite specifically focused on entrepreneurs working on new industrial technologies with the ability to an impact in the manufacturing and engineering fields.
The newly-launched site is called MEMakers is a source for relevant articles, images and video resources from around the region. The site will address themes such as advanced manufacturing, Industrial Internet, healthcare, energy, robotics, innovation and design, and clean tech.
Content will be available in English and Arabic and has an initial geographic focus on Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Jordan and Lebanon.
