Check-Up Iraq: Strengthening Hospital Efficiencies
Bringing better health to more people is a complex operation. It not only requires the right healthcare service systems, but also demands the scalability of these systems. And developing and scaling healthcare infrastructures is not a one-size-fits-all process, either.
To take on this challenge in Iraq, GE has joined hands with the Iraqi Ministry of Health (MoH) to open a dedicated GE Healthcare Centre in Bagdad. This centralized hub will strengthen the operational efficiencies of the country’s hospital infrastructure by drawing on technological advantages offered by GE’s medical systems and solutions.
GE will be customizing its global service systems for the very first time, in this case, to meet the needs of 39 MoH hospitals in Iraq, and strengthen their efficiency. What this means for both patients and hospital staff cannot be underestimated. The GE Healthcare Service Center will provide real time access for healthcare professionals to access our global network and systems – bringing more affordable quality medical care to more Iraqi people at lower costs.
During the first phase of the center’s operations, customers will have access to a Remote Assist tool. Service Centre staff will assign field engineers and provide access to the GE’s global Cyber FE capabilities via portable internet audio visuals and connected support.
