Innovation was on the agenda when GE joined hands with Injaz UAE to conduct an education camp for students from all over the Emirates under the theme ‘You Can B!’

The one-day camp held for students aged 15 to 19 years was focused on promoting the values of entrepreneurship and driving work readiness. The event, held at Dubai’s Knowledge Village, challenged students to find innovative ways to solve a business challenge using critical thinking, teamwork, communication and leadership skills. Ten GE Volunteers assisted Injaz UAE in setting up the day’s activities with two members serving as judges of the innovative solutions created by the 60 students who attended.

Injaz UAE is part of Junior Achievement Worldwide, the world’s largest non-profit business education organization, while GE Volunteers is an internal organisation within GE that promotes the spirit of volunteerism.
