The future of the workplace and jobs, big data and the skills youth need to meet these changes have been recent hot topics on everyone’s mind. Last week, the World Economic Forum Summit on the Global Agenda focused on engaging young people in the Middle East and North Africa’s and addressing chronic youth unemployment in the region were recurring themes. All of these issues are impacted by the disruptive forces that define the Future of Work.

By enabling trends such as cloud-based collaborative design, leaner and customizable manufacturing, and rapid prototyping, we are witnessing the arrival of a new industrial revolution. The Future of Work offers enormous hope to today’s young people and those of tomorrow, both to enable rewarding employment and to address other challenges around issues such as economic opportunity and climate change.
