GE is known to hire exceptional people and for giving them opportunities to nurture and build their career and capabilities. The company invests about $1 billion every year on training and education programmes to nurture the growth of their employees.

GE considers its people “architects of the future” and in addition to education programmes, imparting leadership skills is a key focus for the company; last year Business Week named GE one of the top 20 companies for leadership.

To attract the right people to join GE and to spread awareness amongst young graduates of the vast opportunities available to them, GE participates in Careers UAE, one of the most recognized career fairs in the region.

Organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre, in conjunction with Tanmia (the national human resource development and employment authority), Higher Colleges of Technology, Zayed University and UAE University, last year Careers Fair attracted over 15,000 UAE and GCC nationals.

The Fair is designed to expose job seekers to a wide range of educational, training and career opportunities and enables graduates to meet recruiters and hiring managers from leading employers.
The GE stand at Careers Fair is located in Hall number 4 – S2B-1 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The Fair runs from March 21-23.
