Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr is a special time for the Middle East which brings together families and friends, usually over a hearty meal. The nature of the gatherings makes it easy to indulge in Arabian delicacies packed with love, flavour … and sometimes tough blows to our health.

It’s no surprise that unhealthy eating habits can lead to lifelong problems like obesity and diabetes, to name a few. A little bit of education on how to eat healthy can go a long way. The obesity rate among Saudi men and women has risen to 70 percent according to the Saudi Diabetes and Endocrinology Society.
